Security Assessment

The purpose of the Security Assessment is to determine the type of security being deployed within a customer’s existing information technology infrastructure. This information will be used during the analysis phase of NetAssess! To ensure any recommendations coincide with existing security policies, security scheme and implementations. This assessment is not intended to be to study or make recommendations concerning the current security policies or schemes, nor is intended to test the viability of the existing schemes. The Security Assessment is done as part of a total information technology assessment with regard to network access and traffic flow.

• Identify security policies and schemes

• Identify any network firewalls

• Identify any server/workstation firewalls

• Identify locations of any specific equipment regarding security
