Determine type, location and general users of each server within an organization. This information will be used during the Analysis phase of NetAssess! to determine segmentation recommendations, bandwidth recommendations and traffic shaping recommendations. This assessment is not intended to study or make recommendations concerning the applications being supported by a server or to make any recommendations regarding the specific makeup, hardware or software, of a server or its ability to accomplish its task. The Server Assessment is done as part of a total information technology assessment with regard to network traffic flow not as an assessment of a specific server.
